This summer, the greats of pop art take over the Art Gallery of NSW. One of the Gallery’s most ambitious exhibitions ever, Pop to Popism features over 200 works from around the world. See iconic works that defined the movement from artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Jeff Koons, David Hockney, Brett Whiteley and Martin Sharp.

Chuck Close: Prints, Process and Collaboration

Chuck Close: Prints, Process and Collaboration is the largest collection of Close's work ever presented in the southern hemisphere.

One of America's best-loved visual artists, Close is famed for his large scale, photo-based portrait paintings. His highly inventive techniques have featured in more than 200 solo exhibitions in more than 20 countries. Close has produced many iconic portraits of well-known public figures including Brad Pitt, Cindy Sherman, Roy Lichtenstein and President Obama.
