SYDNEY INTERNATIONAL ART PASS
The Sydney International Art Series brings the world’s most outstanding exhibitions to Australia, exclusive to Sydney.
The Sydney International Art Series 2013-2014 features America: painting a nation at the Art Gallery of New South Wales and War is over! (if you want it): Yoko Ono at the MCA.
America: painting a nation is the most expansive survey of American painting ever seen in Australia and features over 80 works covering more than 200 years of American art, history and experience, from 1750 to 1966.
The exhibition features works by celebrated artists including Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Georgia O’Keeffe, James McNeil Whistler, Winslow Homer and John Singer Sargent.
War Is Over! (if you want it): Yoko Ono is the first major solo survey of the artist, musician and activist’s works to be seen in Australia. The exhibition title comes from a text work by Ono and her husband John Lennon that first appeared in 1969 across public billboards in 12 cities worldwide, including New York and London.
The Sydney International Art Pass provides discounted entry to both exhibitions.
